Nightmare House 2 (HL2 Mod)

Nightmare House 2 is a first-person action and horror game based on the Half-Life 2 engine, where you must venture into an environment scarier than you can imagine and try to survive (if you can) in this terrifying nightmare.

Throughout the entire adventure, which is not very long, you will witness numerous horrifying things that threaten your character. Fortunately, you will have firearms to help you deal with the horror through pure firepower.

Your goal in the game is to determine the extent to which what you experience is simply in the character's mind and what is actually happening. The daunting environment, full of horrors, certainly won't make it easy for you to distinguish reality from imagination.

Nightmare House 2 is a horror game, but despite that, it also offers a significant amount of action where you will have to expend all your energy with a machine gun in hand to survive.

Nightmare House 2 is a free, first-person-shooter horror modification, based on the Source Engine by Valve Software.

Note that you are not required to own any Source engine based game (Half-Life 2, etc) in order for NH2 to run. However, steam will automatically download the base assets when trying to launch NH2 without any Source based game installed, so get ready to download a few extra GBs. If you do not know where your main steam folder is it can usually be found in C:\Program Files or similar. ///Intro Crash Fix/// YOU MAY CRASH AFTER THE INTRO LOGO, to fix this do the following: 1 - Go to your Steam library, click on games, from the drop menu select tools. 2 - In the tool list find "Source SDK base 2013 singleplayer", right click on it, select properties. 3 - Go to the BETAS tab, you should see a little down arrow under the "Select the beta you would like to opt into" title, click on it and from the dropdown menu choose "upcoming-" and click close. 4 - Steam will download some missing files, when done, restart your steam and launch NH2 again.
